Precision meets haptics

The ddm hopt+schuler Encoder 580 impresses with its exceptional tactile feedback, which makes every detent position clearly perceptible.

Thanks to precise dimensioning, shaft wobble and play in the detent position are a thing of the past – an advantage that is particularly noticeable with large control knobs. Connection is optionally via a flexible cable, which facilitates integration into different applications. In its standard version, the Encoder 580 is a mechanical 2-bit incremental encoder, which is also available as an optical version on request. Different operating forces for rotary and push functions, individual design of the operating front and optional indirect ring lighting offer numerous options for adaptation to customer-specific requirements.

The Encoder 580 is used, for example, in control panels and control systems in industry, in household appliances and white goods, in machine control systems, in electronic devices with a turn/push function, and in panels requiring haptic feedback.
