Compact RGB LED with IC and PWM control

Lumex presents the SMD-LX0707RGB-TR, taking RGB to the next level. This surface-mount RGB LED (RGB SMD LED) features a low profile, low drive current and integrated driver IC.

The RGB LED with built-in IC and a data pin easily adapts to PCBs of different sizes, shapes and materials, including hollow rings, rigid and flexible strips. The single GPIO pin can control up to 1024 SMD-LX0707RGB-TR LEDs. Each RGB chip uses 256 PWM levels for brightness control and colour mixing. The sample code provided by Lumex reduces software development time. In addition, it can be integrated into Lumex's digital LED controller to reduce the load on MCUs or controllers.

The very compact SMD housing also makes it perfect for wearables, flexible circuit boards and other confined spaces. The sample library provided by Lumex and ezDisplay support reduce development time and firmware effort.
